Claude Rains as the doomed violinist Eric Claudin from the 1943 classic horror film The Phantom of the Opera. 
 
This film was a Technicolor remake of the classic silent B&W original version in 1925 with Lon Chaney.
 
Although not seen until briefly at the end, the acid burn scars were a startling make-up by Jack Pierce. I really enjoyed trying to capture this hideous scaring as well as the horror and rage Rains displayed when he was unmasked! 
 
Stands 6″ with the base. It comes in 4 pieces, bust, cravat, mask and base. 
Mask can be displayed covering the face or mounted on the side of the base. 
 
This 1/4 scale bust is solid resin, painted in color, signed and numbered and
available only through me.
